Rod Drew (John Wayne) takes a train to the Canadian Northwest where he renews his friendship with boyhood friend Wabi (Noah Beery Jr.), who is falsely accused of shooting a card shark. Rod helps him out of his bind and finds a lost gold mine and a lovely woman along the way. Filmed in Kings Canyon, California.
