The mayor of Hudson, Craig Shubert, has gone viral for pointing out some very interesting ‘data points’ at a city council meeting on allowing ice fishing in public parks.
While some officials expressed concern it was dangerous because people could fall through the ice, Shubert worried it would lead to ice fishing with shanties, which would lead to… ‘prostitution.’ It’s a slippery slope, after all.
Shubert’s claim that pulling fish out of frozen lakes is a gateway to sex work has detonated a bomb of mockery online, prompting reactions as baffled as the guy sitting next to him in the video.
Sounds like he knows something we don’t, tbh.
