Chana Biryani | Recipe

Ingredients:

500gms Black Channa

1 cup Curd

1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder

1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder

1 tbsp Garam Masala

Salt

2-3 Bay Leaves

1 tbsp Ginger & Garlic Paste

2 Onions (sliced)

2 Tomatoes (sliced) Coriander Leaves

Mint Leaves

5 tbsp Oil

1/2 cup Water

300 gms Basmati Rice (parboiled)

Garam Masala

Method:

First, Marinate the chana add Curd, Red Chilli Powder, Turmeric Powder, Garam Masala, salt as required, Bay Leaves, Ginger & Garlic Paste. Now mix them all properly, Now add Onions, Tomatoes, Coriander Leaves & Mint Leaves. Transfer all of this into marinated chana with added Oil & Water, again mix them. Add the chana into the Pot/Matka with adding Basmati Rice (parboiled) in the same Pot/Matka with little spring of garam masala. Now heat up the Matka/Pot for 15 minutes. Do not forget to cover the Pot/Matka. After 10 minutes start heating up the top, Pick up a few embers and put in the top of the lid.

After 15 minutes your chana biryani is ready to be served on serving plater.
