Inmate's Execution Delayed





Vernon Madison, an Alabama inmate, was scheduled to have a lethal injection this Thursday at 6pm. In 1985, Madison was convicted for the murder of Officer Julius Schultz. However, Madison’s execution was delayed, because he has recently experienced several strokes and dementia. They have cause him to no longer be competent, which has started a debate as to whether him receiving the death penalty would be ethical and constitutional.
